YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - September is National Hunger Action Month and 21 WFMJ and Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley, a member of Feeding America, are urging residents of the Mahoning Valley to take the "My Way" Pledge (see below) to help end hunger in our community and across America. Hunger in our Valley is on the rise. And instead of just reporting on the problem, 21 News is doing something to help.
Project: Feed Our Valley is an effort to educate people about hunger in our community. It's also a "call to action" to raise vital donations of food and money in order to feed our hungry neighbors. More>>

Youngstown, Ohio - Tickets and corporate tables are now available for Second Harvest Food Bank's 19th annual Taste of the Valley fundraiser to be held Sunday, October 3 at Stambaugh Auditorium from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. More>>
The Food Bank distributes food to 152 hunger relief organizations in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties. These organizations include church pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, shelters for battered women, and after-school programs.
