After months of construction, a specialty steel company is ready to bring new jobs to the Valley. Patriot Special Metals is nearing completion of it's 64-million dollar, 200-thousand square foot facility on Bailey Road in North Jackson.

The company has started hiring for 60 jobs at an average salary of 50-thousand dollars.

The plant will produce forged and hot-rolled steel and expects to begin operations in the first quarter of 2010.
