Make steel or sell to someone who will. That's the message to the owners of Warren's Severstal steel plant.

Three Ohio lawmakers wrote a letter to Severstal executives complaining about the continued idling of plants in Warren, Mingo Junction, Martins Ferry and Yorkville.

Severstal has laid off more than 12-hundred workers at the Warren plant this year, saying it has no plans to resume operations until the economy improves.
