Vaccine shortages affecting counties differently

Most seasonal flu shot clinics in Mahoning and Trumbull county have either been cancelled or are down to their last few doses.

As of Thursday morning, the Visiting Nurses Association was down to about 75 doses and cautioned that they would go quickly.

10 doses had already been administered Thursday morning.

The Niles city health department has about 95 doses for a children's clinic Friday from 2-4 p.m.

They will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

Clinics in Columbiana and Mercer counties said they still have enough supply to run all of their clinics.
