Youngstown Mayor Jay Williams tells 21 News that his meeting in France with four top executives at V-and-M Star Steel went very well. Williams says the meeting at the company's headquarters in Paris lasted about an hour and included sitting down with the C-E-O and C-O-O. The Mayor says V & M executives spoke very highly of their work force at the current V&M site in Youngstown and were extremely pleased with the incentive package worked out by both Youngstown and Girard for future expansion. V&M officials in the past have said that the project was on the back burner because of the economy. The expansion could bring 400 jobs to the valley.
