Troubles Mount For Valley Attorney, Trustee

Court records indicate that a local attorney, and candidate in tomorrow's election is headed to jail.

Attorney Warren "Bo" Pritchard was convicted of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and driving with a suspended license.

A Columbiana County judge sentenced Pritchard to 90 days in jail, which he will begin serving later this month.

As 21 News first told you last week, the Ohio Supreme Court is being asked to suspend Pritchard's law practice for allegedly taking payment for legal services not rendered.

The Mahoning County Bar Association has filed documents claiming to have evidence that Pritchard engaged in conduct including dishonesty, fraud and deceit.

William DiRenzo told 21 News Pritchard was his attorney and friend.

DiRenzo said Pritchard wanted to sell him land on State Route 46 in Austintown, but that he now believes he paid for land he does not own.

"I negotiated a price and I gave him $29,500 for two acres of property, which I never got, the deed to it, nothing," DiRenzo said.

DiRenzo said he received no response from Pritchard when he tried to reach him to ask when the sale would be finalized.

He said he found information that the property had been sold to another party at a Sheriff sale.

DiRenzo said he has copies of his checks, as well as a receipt he claims was signed by Pritchard.

"Election time is coming tomorrow and I know who I'm not going to vote for," DiRenzo said.

Attempts to reach Pritchard at his home and on his cell phone were unsuccessful.
