A Beaver county man was arrested Monday after he allegedly attempted to have sex with teenage girls.

Thomas Pieri is accused of using internet chat rooms to try to convince two teenage girls to meet him in New Castle for sex.

The girls, who he believed to be a 15-year-old from Ohio and her 13-year-old cousin, were actually an officer from the Child Predator Unit of the Fairborn Police Department and an undercover agent from Lawrence county.

Pieri will be in court this month to face numerous counts of sexual related offenses.
