GM recalling several vehicles

General Motors is recalling some 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt and Saturn Ion vehicles that were originally sold or are registered in the states of Nevada and Arizona, as well as some 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, Pontiac G5 and Saturn Ion vehicles sold or registered in the states of Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada and Texas.

The company said the plastic supply or return port on the modular reservoir assembly may crack, which could cause a fuel leak that could pose a fire hazard.

Anyone owning one of these vehicles should return them to the dealer to have the fuel pump module replaced free of charge.
