A local Certified Public Accountant is teaming up with the Salvation Army to kick off the Christmas season this week.
Bodine Perry of Canfield will present a check for $2,000 at a breakfast Wednesday morning.
Matt Bodine, a Bodine-Perry partner, said the comany's involvement is personal.
"I'm a father and I couldn't stand the thought of children, like mine, not getting presents this Christmas," Bodine said.
The firm also plans to turn their office into a collection center for Christmas gifts to be donated to the Salvation Army.
