One person is dead and two others are injured following a shooting early Friday morning in Sharon.

John Hosey, 18, was shot in the abdomen around 2 a.m. on Wallis Avenue.

He was taken to Sharon Regional hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Ashley McNulty, 20, and Mark McNulty, 21, were also taken to the hospital, where they were treated for superficial injuries and released.

Sharon police said it the van the three were in was fired into from the outside.

Police are investigating.
