A gas station clerk in Brookfield is forced to the ground and beaten during a robbery attempt Friday night.

A man driving a black Pontiac Sunfire robbed the Gastown on Warren Sharon Road around 9 p.m. Friday night.

He ordered the clerk to the ground at gun point and stole about 2-thousand dollars and several cartons of cigarettes.
