Two men accused of shooting at a ninth grade Austintown Fitch student are now in police custody.
The two brothers, 23-year-old Donald Frampton and 20-year-old Joseph Frampton are accused of shooting at 15-year-old Kaitlin Chambers.
Chambers was in a car with friends Monday night when a motorcyclist began arguing with her friend and shot into the back of the car.
She needed five stitches in her head after a bullet fragment was removed from her scalp.
Donald Frampton is charged with felonious assault, violating parole and unlawful possession of a weapon. His brother, Joseph, is charged with felonious assault.
Neither of the two brothers entered pleas when they appeared in court Monday morning.
Joseph Frampton was charged with nine counts of felonious assault.
He is being held on $50,000 on each count for a total of $450,000.
Donald Frampton was charged with nine counts of felonious assault and one count of having weapons under disability.
He is being held on $50,000 for each count for a total of $500,000.
They are due back in court on November 23 at 10:15 a.m.
