A Leavittsburg restaurant was robbed Monday morning when the owner went to the bank to make a deposit.

The owner of the Liberty Inn said a man was waiting in the vestibule area of the restaurant when she was about to leave.

She said he got away with about $5,000 when he pushed her, causing her to drop the bag.

He also attempted to take her purse, but did not get it.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing camoflauge and driving a motorcycle.
