Another horse and buggy accident in the valley injures an Amish woman and her children. State troopers say Emma Jane Detwiler was thrown from her buggy when it was rear-ended by a van along state route 5-34 in Farmington this morning. The five children in the buggy only received minor injuries. Detwiler was flown to a Cleveland hospital with head injuries. She's in critical condition. Troopers say the driver of the van, 49 year old Richard Weakley of Mesopotamia Township, failed to maintain an assured clear distance. This is the third accident involving a horse and buggy in the valley since May.
