Tips Provide Info in Missing Child Case

Jimmy Higham Jimmy Higham

Youngstown Police Chief Jimmy Hughes tells 21 News that police have received other important tips this week, in connection with a missing child case that dates back six years.

Jennifer Snyder was arrested by Youngstown Police in connection with the death of 16-year-old Jimmy Higham on Tuesday.

Snyder had temporary custody of the boy when authorities believe he not only disappeared, but tragically died on June 15th of 2001.

And while police are not calling Jimmy's death murder at this point, authorities do believe new tips could lead to an arrest of another suspect in the case.

"These calls provided to us today after yesterday's story fit exactly in to this puzzle we're trying to solve," says Captain Ken Centorame, "based on our preliminary talks with the information provided to us."
