    Students and staff at Mohawk High School are mourning the death of 17-year-old freshman who was killed in a cycling accident. State police say Elijah Franks was struck by an SUV while riding his bicycle across Route 18 at Old Wampum Road in Big Beaver Borough. Franks was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh Hospital where he died.
