    The city says the 5th Avenue corridor project downtown could be completed sooner. Officials say it could be done in three-and-a-half to five years instead of seven. And it will have an added bonus. New stop lights will mean drivers won't have to sit at traffic lights for long periods of time.     Sharpsville Schools considers property tax increase

    A Mercer County school district took the first steps tonight towards raising property taxes for the next school year. Sharpsville's superintendent says there is an increase in operating costs and a lot of mandates not funded by the state. The school board passed a preliminary budget tonight with a 4 mill tax increase but this is just a starting point. The board plans to work between now and June to look at areas to make some cuts if necessary and to get the number lower is possible.

But as 21 News found out, the suspects are allegedly part of a larger theft ring.   St. Clair Township Police Detectives now know who dropped through the roof at Kay Jewelers at the Summit Square Plaza on March 4, 2018, nearly emptying out some of the showcases of rings, watches and bracelets.
