YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - About 40 members of the group We Are Ohio met outside the Youngstown Steel Museum on Saturday.

The group was there to draw attention to worker safety and collective bargaining rights by fighting right to work legislation.

The group is working to make sure voters know that efforts to change Ohio to a right to work state is wrong for working and middle class families.

The director of public relations for We Are Ohio, Dennis Willard, says the so called trick titled right to work is wrong for Ohio because it will mean lower wages for everyone, lower benefits for everyone, and less safety for workers on the job.

There is an effort underway to get the legislation on the ballot.

Tom Connelly a nurse at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, who attended the meeting, is one of the workers who talked Saturday, saying right to work legislation is worse than Ohio Senate Bill 5.
