UPDATED: New Castle shooting

NEW CASTLE, PA - A man remains in critical condition following a shooting in New Castle.

It happened just before 12:30 Wednesday morning near the intersection of Boyles Avenue and Centennial in the North Hill area of the city.

Police say 20-year-old Martierius  Brown of New Castle was shot following an altercation with two other people.

He was taken to St. Elizabeth's hospital by ambulance.

Police say the shooting remains under investigation.
