Dairy Queen® Free Cone Day set for Sunday, March 20

BOARDMAN, Ohio - On Sunday, March 20th, Dairy Queen® will host a Free Cone Day at all participating Dairy Queen locations in the tri-county area. For every mouth watering cone served on Free Cone Day, Dairy Queen guests are invited to make a donation to their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, a nonprofit organization that raises money for children's hospitals. Proceeds from Free Cone Day sales in this area will benefit Akron Children's Hospital Mahoning Valley, our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital.

Since 1984, DQ has raised over $81 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. In 2010, local DQs raised over $11,000 for Akron Children's Hospital Mahoning Valley.

Akron Children's Hospital Mahoning Valley is one of 170 premier Children's Miracle Network affiliated pediatric hospitals. Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals. Each year, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.
