Jackson Center mayor arrested on drug charges in West Virginia

BLAND COUNTY, West Virginia - The Mayor of Jackson Center and a Grove City man are in jail for drug charges after a traffic stop in southwest West Virginia.

Police arrested 45-year-old Joseph Ferlin of Jackson Center along with 50-year-old Raymond Turner of Grove City after being pulled over in Bland County, West Virginia last Monday.

The men were allegedly found with 10 pounds of marijuana with a street value of over 35-thousand dollars. The two men also had a considerable amount of cash.

Ferlin's term expires at the end of the year.
