BOARDMAN, Ohio - A Boardman man faces charges of assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, possession of criminal tools, and arson.

Township police say that early Wednesday, Andrew M. Gallagher broke a window in a car belonging to Tiffany Frasier and doused the car with gasoline.

Police say Gallagher said he intended to chain himself inside the vehicle and set it on fire.

Gallegher told police that Frasier crushed his heart because she didn't want to be friends. "This is not a former boyfriend. I've never had relations with him. He was a customer at a bar I used to manage, and how he got my address, I'm not quite sure at this point," Frasier said.

Fraser said her children's books and entire car were soaked with gasoline.
