YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Another company at the Youngstown Business Incubator is gaining national attention for it's cutting-edge technology. Visual Impact Imaging is featured in an article in this month's issue of Lawn & Garden Retailer.
The article heaps high praise on Earth-Scapes, a landscape design software developed by Visual Impact Imaging. It allows contractors, landscapers and homeowners to take an existing project and do multiple landscape design possibilities with the click of a mouse.
Ann Behner of Visual Impact tells 21 News, "within our library we have over 5,000 images so it does include plant materials, handscapes such as patios, walkways, stairs, rocks, stones and water features, ever fencing and arbors."
The software removes old landscape design elements from your original photo and lets you drag and drop the look you want.
There's a one time cost of $1,200.00 for the Earthscapes software, but can usually recoup that fee within two or three projects.
Business is growing for Visual Impact Imaging as more landscapers and garden centers embrace the technology and provide a unique service for their customers.
Behner adds the company is constantly working on new and evolving applications.
