Ohio Supreme Court rules in favor of Myrddin Winery

MILTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio - The Ohio Supreme Court makes a decision that means a local winery can stay in business.

On Tuesday, the state's high court reversed lower court rulings that found that the Myrddin Winery violated Milton Township zoning regulations by making wine on its property.

The township unsuccessfully argued that the operation was illegal because the most of the grapes used in the wine were not grown at the winery.

The Supreme Court justices said that the business is exempt from the zoning restrictions.
