Youngstown company shows of product that could revolutionize e-mail

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - One of the Valley's emerging companies is showing off its new product to fellow members of the Youngstown Business Incubator.

On Thursday afternoon, about 120 people got together for a "pop up park" picnic lunch hosted by Via680.

The company's CEO says Via680 is going to revolutionize the way we send and receive email. "You hit send, then you start to wonder, did they get it? Did they read it? Did they understand it and are they doing what I'd like them to do after they read it. With our technology, called Ving, from the moment I hit send and the moment you start interacting with my email I'm collecting valuable data that tells me answers to all four of those questions," Tony DeAscentis.

Via680 celebrated its one-year anniversary in June. The company has 14 employees.
