BOARDMAN, Ohio - Boardman police arrested two males who were allegedly stealing items from unlocked cars.

According to police, 19-year-old Michael Cornwell and 18-year-old Bradley Wineburner were apprehended walking in the dark on Sigle Lane.  When asked what they were doing, they said they were looking for one of the male's sister's house.

The two were separated and Wineburner was patted down.  The officer found two folding knives in his pocket.  Then, the officer checked his backpack and found two watches, a phone charger, a few lighters, and a black card holder style wallet containing several credit cards.

Wineburner then said the items were stolen from vehicles and that the two were allegedly entering cars that were unlocked and taking items out of them.  Wineburner also said there were other stolen items in his vehicle.

According to police, Wineburner signed a consent form and his vehicle was searched and police found several charging cords, a few GPS units, several cell phones and other handheld electronics, along with a pool stick and case.  Police also found a marijuana pipe.

Police found the items in the car were stolen from vehicles in the area of Morningside Place in Poland.

The two were both charged with receiving stolen property, carrying concealed weapons, criminal trespassing, and possessing criminal tools.

Wineburner was also charged with drug paraphernalia.
