YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A local company says it needs more space and more people.
Meridian Community Care is expanding its treatment and prevention services for drug and alcohol abuse.
They're investing 2.3 million dollars in a 12-thousand square foot expansion and renovation project.
"This is going to allow us to expand our outpatient treatment services. It will also allow us to expand the work that we do on the prevention side with teenagers and it's going to allow us to expand the support services that we provide for local businesses," said Larry Moliterno, Meridian Care President and CEO.
Moliterno says the expansion will likely create 15 to 20 new jobs.
