Dead body found in vacant field in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown police are investigating another murder in the city.

A painter on a roof noticed a man's body in a field and called police.

Youngstown police say the body in the vacant field, in the 400 block of Ferndale, was 32-year-old Duane Colvin.

Police recovered two 380 shell casings. One bullet was also found in the wooden fence and two bullet holes were in a tree next to the fence.

A neighbor reports hearing shots fired at about midnight.
