WARREN, Ohio - A suspect is under arrest for the alleged murder of his parents in Warren.
The hunt for Louis Mann is over, but Warren police put out notice to all departments that the 31-year-old was wanted for a double homicide at the home of his parents in the 1600 block of Jefferson in Warren.
Neighbors were in shock. They describe the victims, Philip and Fran Mann, as nice neighbors.
Records from Trumbull Common Pleas Court show Louis Mann was placed on five years probation, twice, after pleading guilty to breaking and entering in one case and receiving stolen property in a second case. Records in the lower courts show more arrests.
Neighbors say the last time they saw Lou enter his parent's home on Jefferson, was about 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning. He was there for about five minutes then took off.
Warren police are not saying how the couple was murdered; however there was blood splattered all over the living room.
A Howland officer on patrol, who was on the lookout for the car, noticed a yellow Cadillac Seville parked at the Capri Motel with the license plate matching the description given by Warren police. They surrounded room 103 at the motel and Mann surrendered.
The manager at the Capri Motel tells 21 News when the suspect checked in he had a woman with him, they were talking about ordering a pizza, and possibly upgrading a room to a Jacuzzi room on Sunday.
But there will be no upgrade on the room; the 31-year-old is back behind bars facing two counts of murder.
