Conneaut Lake Park hit by copper thieves

MEADVILLE, Pennsylvania - One of the original roller coasters still running, and the main draw, at Conneaut Lake Park is now the victim of copper theft.

Pennsylvania State Police in Meadville are looking for the suspect who stole parts from the Blue Streak roller coaster.

According to police, the suspect took the electric service line from the coaster and an estimated 900 feet of four strand copper cable.

The replacement cost is estimated at twelve dollars a foot or nearly 11-thousand dollars.
