YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Another guilty plea is entered in the case of a staged insurance fraud scam involving a Boardman business.
Joseph Amon of Liberty pleaded guilty to a federal conspiracy charge on Tuesday.
Amon was one of four people charged with trying to cheat an insurance company out of 94 thousand dollars by hiring Thomas Franco to drive a truck through the window of Mums the Word Florist.
Franco has already pleaded guilty.
Joseph Amon's brother, Paul, and James Landis are expected to answer to charges later this week.
