NILES, Ohio - The city of Niles denying allegations that it purposely ignored its own ordinance against loud noises.
The denial comes in response to a federal lawsuit filed by Niles Police Officer Robert Ludt.
Ludt claims that former and current police chiefs are not stopping loud band music from McMenamy's Restaurant because of their friendship with the bar's owner.
Ludt lives about a quarter of a mile from McMenamy's.
