Details of alleged Youngstown cocaine operation

Posted:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A federal judge has unsealed an indictment revealing details of an alleged cocaine distribution operation in Youngstown.

Seven people are named in the six count indictment, including Irene Adkins and Kevin Gipson, who investigators say arranged meetings at their Youngstown home to buy cocaine from Michole Cottle, John Bowers, Antonio Whitfield, Michael Pete and Courtney Cobb.

According to the indictment, a confidential source told federal investigators that nearly $6500 exchanged hands in five separate drug deals at the home and other locations on the city's south side.
