YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Police are investigating the beating of a 20-year-old Youngstown State University student who was taken to Saint Elizabeth Medical Center.
Relatives of Resean Yancey tell police that they believe he was beaten as a result of a hazing while pledging a college fraternity.
Youngstown police say they are taking the claims seriously and are investigating.
Relatives say Yancey is recovering.
