Man found on the ledge of a bridge over I-680

BOARDMAN, Ohio - An unidentified man shimmied out on the ledge of the Thalia Avenue Bridge over Interstate 680 just after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Fire crews grabbed the man from a ladder truck and safely lowered him to the ground.

All of this happened during the lightning storm that hit the area.

Boardman police say the man was taken to Saint Elizabeth for a psych evaluation.

He will face criminal charges for the incident.
