Valley golfer Dennis Miller ends U.S. Open run 21 over par

Updated:

SAN FRANCISCO, California - Dennis Miller's 2nd round at the U.S. Open has come to a close.

The local club pro from Mill Creek G.C. started his round on hole #9. After making a par there and another on #10, Miller finished the back 9 with his 3rd consecutive 9 hole score of 40 (he shot 40-40—80 yesterday).

He then got off to a rocky start on #1 carding a triple-bogey 7. The par 4 1st has played as the most difficult hole so far this week at The Olympic Club in San Francisco.

Miller did, however, par his final three holes of the day to finish his first U.S. Open at 21 over par.
