Front Yard Facelift is Back!

Front Yard Facelift is back!  WFMJ Today and Gilmore Design are once again teaming up to give the front of your home some great curb appeal!

To enter, send us the following...

  • Your name, mailing address (no P.O. Box) and daytime telephone number.
  • Letter telling us why you feel your front yard needs a makeover.
  • At least three photos of your front yard (one of the photos must be a full on shot showing the entire front yard)

Mail this information to Front Yard Facelift, c/o 21 WFMJ, 101 W. Boardman Street, Youngstown, OH, 44503.  You can also e-mail the above information and the three photos to 21newsnow@wfmj.com.  Make sure you put FRONT YARD FACELIFT in the subject line.

One winner will be chosen.  Winner will be selected by J. Gilmore Design LTD.

The makeover will take place LIVE on WFMJ Today on Thursday, July 19, 2018.  Winner must be available from 3:00-7:00 a.m. on that date.  You must be 18 years of age or older to enter and you must be the homeowner.  Contest open to residents in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties in Ohio and Mercer and Lawrence counties in Pennsylvania.  All photos become the property of 21 WFMJ and J. Gilmore Design LTD.  Deadline to enter is Sunday, July 8, 2018.

    The Shenango River glowed for the first of the three Waterfire Sharon events in downtown Sharon as dozens of braziers were lit by people in boats carrying torches. The lighting ceremony for "Magical Moments" Saturday night took place on the State Street bridge just after 9 p.m. Some travel back to the Shenango Valley for the event each year.     One dog and two cats are dead after a fire broke out at a Trumbull County home Saturday afternoon. Officials responded to a trailer fire in the 5000 block of Kinsman Road Saturday. The woman who lives there was not home at the time the flames broke out. Firefighters credit a passerby for alerting authorities of the blaze. Orangeville Fire Chief Larry Foltz tells 21 News the west end of the trailer saw the majority of the damage.  The cause remains under investigation.
