BOARDMAN, Ohio - Boardman police have arrested a man accused of beating his mother-in-law.

Police allege that 48-year-old Kenneth Krecken assaulted his 87-year-old mother-in-law on Saturday.

Reports say Krecken punched the woman in the face a half a dozen times.

The woman was taken to Saint Elizabeth Health Center and is listed in stable condition.

Krecken is charged with felonious assault and domestic violence.
