Psychotic disorder cause of erratic behavior by Jet Blue pilot

A psychologist blames a brief psychotic disorder caused by lack of sleep, for a Jet Blue pilot's erratic behavior during a March flight.

According to a court transcript obtained by the Associated Press, the psychologist testified during Clayton Osbon's trial.

Earlier this month, a judge found Osbon not guilty by reason of insanity.

Passengers said they wrestled him to the floor after he ran through the plane's cabin yelling about Jesus and al-Qaida.

Co-pilot Jason Dowd of Salem locked Osbon out of the plane's cockpit and made an emergency landing.
