AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - The Mahoning Valley Epilepsy Foundation will hold its 8th annual Rocking for Epilepsy Awareness and Support event.
The foundation has paired with the Cracker Barrel restaurant in Austintown. The event will start at 10:00am on Saturday, July 21st. The foundation is calling on volunteers to rock in a chair for an hour to help raise money for the local epilepsy foundation.
"We cover all of Trumbull, Columbiana and Mahoning counties and when you figure two in every 100 people have epilepsy that's a pretty large population," said Marty Smith Subramania with the Mahoning Valley Epilepsy Foundation.
The money will help the foundation send kids to camp each year, pay for medications and sponsor educational programs.
If you have more questions or would like to sign up call Marty Smith Subramania at 330-270-8037.
