NEW CASTLE, Pennsylvania - Some tense moments in New Castle Sunday night as firefighters battled a three alarm blaze downtown.
The blaze broke out in a commercial building shortly after 8:00 p.m. in the 100 block of East Washington.
One firefighter was trapped by a partial building collapse.
"There was one (firefighter) that was going into the building and when he got stuck the walls started to buckle and about four or five emergency personnel came over," said resident Justine Caldwell. "They got him pulled out in a matter of minutes, but it felt like a lifetime watching that guy get stuck in the doorway."
