YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Parts of the Valley are cleaning up in the aftermath of storms that swept through Thursday afternoon.
Among the weather advisories issued was a tornado warning as a front moved through northern Trumbull and Mercer counties.
Members of the 21 News Street Team sent us numerous pictures including one of a fallen tree in Sandy Lake.
There were also reports of trees and wires down around Jamestown, Greenville, Perry Township and Grove City.
Some viewers spotted ominous skies over Youngstown and Boardman.
Storms also downed trees and wires along the Mahoning and Columbiana County line.
A Street Team member in Poland picked up two disc shaped hailstones as big as silver dollars.
Lawrence County didn't escape either. A Street Team member sent us video of a downpour in Neshanock Township.
Crews have been working to open roads and restore power to homes and businesses hit by the storm. Thousands are without power including 3,600 homes and businesses in Columbiana County, more than 1,200 in Mercer County, 400 in Mahoning County and 56 in Kinsman in Trumbull County.
