WARREN, Ohio - A rally titled Stop the Hate and Violence will be held this Sunday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Warren's Amphitheatre.
Community organizers are hoping to bring residents solutions to the violence the city has been battling.
Councilwoman Cheryl Saffold says there are many opportunities for residents that they may not even be aware of.
"We are going to be disseminating information about employers who are willing to employ those who may have felony records," Saffold said.
Saffold feels part of the violence is due in part to drugs. She is hoping they can send the message you don't have to sell drugs to make money because there are alternatives.
