WARREN, Ohio - A Friday night Country music tribute concert series in Warren has ended.
"Country at The Amp," a concert series paying tribute to country music artists has been canceled.
The event's website cited poor attendance at previous concerts as the reason for canceling the remaining three tribute band shows that were scheduled for the rest of August.
Promoters say they were surprised by the lack of turnout for previous shows, receiving only about half the attendance they initially received when they first started.
Country at the Amp was established as to compliment to the Saturday night concert series at the Amphitheater, "River Rock at The Amp." That concert series is still active.
