YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Schwebel's Bakery played host on Wednesday to a delegation of students and university leaders from Ohio State, including its President E. Gordon Gee.
The bus tour of numerous counties in Ohio is something Gee does every summer to expose Buckeye students to what Ohio has to offer.
"Our tour right now is really focusing on jobs. Keeping jobs in Ohio, keeping our kids in Ohio, growing home grown businesses such as Schwebel's," Gee said.
Gee says the Ohio tours are not for fund-raising, but for what he calls "friend raising" and exploring ways in which Ohio State can work with businesses to grow Ohio's economy.
