Candidates agree to debates in Ohio's Senate race

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Ohio's two leading candidates for the state's U.S. Senate seat have agreed to a series of debates this fall.

Democratic U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown and Republican challenger Josh Mandel will debate three times leading up to the state's closely watched Senate contest.

Debates will be held in Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati.

The debate in Cleveland is set for Oct. 15 and the debate in Cincinnati will be on Oct. 25.

Details for the Columbus debate have not been finalized.
