YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A non-profit group is getting involved in helping an Idaho family find their stolen dog.
Canine Crusaders is accepting donations for a reward fund set up to help the Jillings family find their three-year-old bull dog Mable who was stolen from their van on Tuesday.
The family from Idaho was passing through the area and decided to stop and get something to eat at the Bob Evans restaurant in Liberty Township.
Someone broke into the vehicle stole some electronic items and the dog.
"We're also taking in donations and selling candy bars just to help with the reward fund in hopes it will entice somebody to turn her in," said Paulina McCallum from Canine Crusaders.
"We've been out there looking for her. Our daughter has been out there hollering her name; we just really, really want her home. We can't imagine what life's going to be like without her. If anybody has her if you can please call us, drop her off someplace. If someone has sold her to you, we will pay whatever you spent and give you the reward on top of that and help you find a new puppy. Just bring her home to us," said Brook Jillings.
If you have information on the Idaho family's stolen dog, please call Canine Crusaders at 208-559-4286.
The dog answers to Mable and will come if you jingle bells or your keys.
