YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Two family members in Youngstown have been arrested and charged after a heated argument between neighbors became alleged threats.
According to a police report, Heather Jackson approached a house belonging to the Boerio's, located at 64 E Lucius Avenue, about a stolen bike.
Jackson stated that she has had problems with the family numerous times in the past and that they have used racial slurs against her and her son.
After confronting the family about the bike, Amber Boerio, 19, allegedly began threatening to attack Jackson. The argument escalated when Linda Boerio, 33, allegedly threatened to shoot Jackson.
Another suspect, Anthony Boerio, Sr., 41, allegedly handed his son, Dale Boerio, 12, what was believed to be a BB gun and told him to "handle your business."
Dale then allegedly started pointing a gun at the gathering crowd outside of the family's home.
Police were eventually called and arrested Amber and Anthony. Amber was arrested for menacing and Anthony was arrested for child endangerment after handing the BB gun to his son. Linda was cited for aggravated menacing.
This is not the first time neighbors have complained about the family. In 2006, a petition was filed against the Boerio's, who lived on 2635 Cooper Street at the time, by neighbors who said the family would allegedly shout racial slurs at people and would also shoot them with pellet guns.
Anthony, however, told 21 News that it was his family that were being terrorized and that the neighbors on Cooper Street were shooting pellet guns at them.
