Former Craig Beach police chief files lawsuit after firing

Updated:

CRAIG BEACH - Former Craig Beach Police Chief Joe Borosky has filed a lawsuit seeking reinstatement of his job with back pay.

Borosky was fired last month following complaints of using excessive force.

One of the complaints stemmed from cruiser video which showed Borosky pulling a woman from her car and handcuffing her during a traffic stop.

In his lawsuit Borosky contends he was fired without due process.
