SHENANGO TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania - It's the first K-9 unit in the history of the Shenango Township Police Department.
Twenty-month-old Drago has been with the department for about 30 days and is currently in training for patrol and drug detecting.
The police force thought it would take at a year to raise the money needed to fund the K-9 program, but the community and local businesses immediately stepped in and raised $18,000 in just seven weeks.
